Contest: Farmers feed the World

Hello wonderful steemians

How has your day been? I hope it went very well? Mine was great and I will be posting a diary game about it tomorrow in steemkids community, just stay tuned guys.

Today I will be presenting my entry in this wonderful contest by @sahmie and I hope I become one of the winners of this contest. Farmers are people that really need to be taken serious because their work isn't an unserious one.

Who is a Farmer, and what do farmers do?

A farmer is an individual who spends lots of his/her time planting crops in a huge or small land. A land where these farmers spend most of their time is known as a farm.

The things farmers do are planting and growing of crops, we do have two system of farming which are;

Subsistence farming : In this system of farming, farmers only grow crops and harvest them, the crops they grow and harvest are only for personal use/consumption, just for them and their family to have foodstuffs and fruits at home. They don't sell their crops.

Commercial farming : In this system of farming, famers do grow crops, harvest them and sell them for money. They might just take little crops for consumption but they are mainly based in business which means, selling their crops when they have been harvested.

So what am trying to say is that some farmers grow crops and harvest them for personal use only while some donthe same but they are mainly based in selling these goods.

Are farmers really important people in our society? (give reasons for your answer)

Farmers are definitely important people in our society because they are one the reasons why human beings are able to eat and why the agricultural sector of every country is flourishing. Farmers do make sure that food are available in our society, they know what to do with the soil during the rainy season as well as dry season.

Farmers do help us to keep our soil fertile as well as make us able to breath in oxygen because the crops they grow makes are soil fresh and accurate and these numerous crops do breath in carbon dioxide and breath out oxygen, thereby making it possible for humans to survive.

What are the conditions of farmers in your area.

Farmers do make lots of money but not all of them do so, some are lucky while some aren't, some are smart and some aren't, some are experienced while some aren't. Some have passion for it while some doesn't.

Why am I revealing all this? The reason is because am trying to say that the current conditions of our farmers are because of the way the choose to be and also few things that happened to them that wasn't their fault.

Farmers are mostly considered as poor people because of the nature of their work and the government isn't giving them the full support they need.

Why do you think people don't want to be farmers anymore?

The reason why people doesn't want to be farmers anymore is because the work is a very stressful one and nobody likes stress at all. Assuming is all of them that are getting millions of money in the business, so people will still want to be farmers but the rich farmers are lesser than the poor ones.

Farmers are also seen as illiterate and in this current generation nobody will want anyone to jump into conclusion that they are just illiterate. Farmers are suffering alot because sometimes so type of virus do kill their crops. Is not easy to be a farmer friends. Thanks for reading and have a nice day.
