Hello everyone, good morning and happy Sunday to you all. I hope you all had an awesome night rest? Welcome back to my blog. Having a skill today, in our present Society where unemployment is the order of the day is quite a good thing.
Skill is a valuable asset which gives you an edge above others in the society. The best part about having a skill is that it's makes you busy, relevant in the society and above all is also a major source of income. A good skill has the ability of taking you to places you didn't dream of going.
A skill can be defined as the ability of creating something.
Various types of skill
Computer Programming
Hair dressing
Tailoring
Bakery
Welding
Bead making
Paint making
Soap making e.t.c.
There are various skills in our society today. You can choose to learn one based on what you love. It is very important to consider your passion before learning any skill if not it will be very hard for you to learn a skill you don't love.
My skill my pride
My skill is Wig making. I have been practicing this skill for almost four years now. I learnt this skill in the year 2020 during Corona virus Pandemic lockdown. All the students were asked to go home due to the Pandemic. After staying a while at home, I was bored and decided to learn Wig making.
Materials needed
To make this wig, we need the following materials.
Weavon
Scissors
Weavon brush
Wig cap
Mannequin head
Closure
Needle and thread for sewing. You can equally use a sewing machine.
Procedure
Fix the closure on the center of the wig cap and sew it. You can equally attach the closure after sewing the wig, but this way is easier. I had to fix the closure at the center because it's center pattern.
Fix the hair weft and start sewing from the bottom of the neckline until you reach the head crown
Sew the weavon in a U-shape.
At the end of each line, double tie the knot in order to make it tight.
Comb the hair as you sew so that it won't tangle.
After making the wig, wear it on your head in order to identify if there is any fault. If there isn't, then your wig is ready.

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! @rossnenye. Wig making is really a good and lucrative skill in the fashion industry. Practicing for over 4 years, has shown how proficient you are in wig making. As a guy, I don't really know the joy you females derive in wearing these wigs, but i know it's a hot cake in the fashion market. Nice skill you've got @rossnenye, keep on the good work. Lol, wearing wig is more economical to plaiting hair now that attachment is quite expensive.

Hi @rossenye, you learn a good and profitable work indeed, wig making is popular in my locality and I've seen a lot of people successful in this particular skill, you're really creative in the skill honestly and I'm sure you'll make a lot of money, you can't just waste four years for nothing, you'll make a lot of money dear, keep being creative dear.
