Hello there steemians good to have you here today how are you all doing I hope all is well as for me I'm perfectly fine, and I'm delighted to welcome you all to this week's engagement challenge hosted here in the steem fashion&style community with the theme "My thought about the word fashion"

What is fashion in your words?

According to my own personal understanding the word fashion simply refers to the area of activity which involves or has to do with styles of clothing and appearance.

In other words fashion can also be said to be a style of clothing or anything that has to do with appearance that is popular at a particular time.

For example in my country Nigeria the fashion that is trending this time of the year in polo shirt is the neck design as seen in the above picture, it is becoming very popular as almost everyone is wearing it and if your polo neck isn't like the one above that means you are still in the 90's 😂😂.

Do You Agree With 'Fashion Stimulates Our Self-confidence?'

In this case I think I will have to disagree with the saying, because looking back at the above definition and meaning of fashion I definitely do not think that it has anything or contribute to our self-confidence.

Take a look at all this famous billionaires you will notice that sometimes they wear simple outfits even when going to an important occasion or event person like mark Zuckerberg for example, because deep down he knows that it isn't all about the outfit rather it's about the things we have to offer.

Do You Think Fashion Matters To Our Success?

And another one, in this case also I will have to disagree in a sense that unless you are a model or a celebrity which I'm not, can fashion matters or contribute to our success since the profession is all about appearance and impression.

But in normal human life I don't think that fashion is anyway close in determining our success because it can't be because a person is wearing a trending outfits he or she turns out to be successful, such a thing is only seen in the movies and not in real life.

Write Reasons Why Fashion Is Important Or Why Fashion Isn’t Important To Our Lives?"

Since I'm not a celebrity and also I'm not a dress to impress kind of guy I don't think that fashion is that important to our lives.

And the reason why I'd said so is because, since fashion has to do with popular appearance and when talking of popularity it definitely has to do with celebrities and we all know that celebrities don't always dressed responsibly rather there only dress to impress their fans and also to stand out.

Ok, if you all disagree with me let me explain further, if you had a job interview and you dress like portable (who is a Nigerian singer) or like 50 cent or Ice cube, what do you think would be your chances of getting such a job as they might even think that you are carrying a gun

Coupled with this saying "How you are dress, is how you are addressed" I personally prefer cooperate dressing because it makes someone to look responsible and approachable and people will tend to see you as a gentleman thus set open doors and a more opportunity to excell in life.
