Contest: The Debate (Week 24); Unlimited wealth Vs Unlimited Knowledge

Good day steemians how are you all doing? It's nice to welcome you all to this week's debate contest week 24 organize here in the steem fashion&style community by @sahmie and the title of the contest is Unlimited wealth Vs Unlimited Knowledge, which would you choose?

Today in my entry I will be sharing with you all between unlimited wealth 🤑 and unlimited knowledge which I'd prefer the most and which I would like to pick if given the opportunity

It is very much true that it takes some certain amount of wealth before a person is able to acquire knowledge and you can take our educational system for an example where the cost of going through school is becoming very unaffordable.

So with that you can certainly say that wealth is very much necessary because with it comes great power of accomplishment and a higher chance of success.

But if I was given the opportunity to choose between wealth and knowledge trust me I would definitely pick knowledge, yes knowledge that would be my pick why? I will explain just keep reading.

I prefer to posses all the knowledge in this world than to posses all the wealth of the earth and still be a fool

Knowledge is what thrives a man towards success, knowledge is what thrives a man towards the discoveries and inventions of new things, knowledge alone comes with it's own degree of self confidence and with it a man keeps hold of his dignity.

What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose a soul (the bible says) for I have been seeing rich folks behaving like fools all because of ignorance, take for example the so called yahoo boys when the are lucky enough to cash out they will spend it anyhow because the lack the knowledge of what to do with the money

And yes wealth is of benefits to the public in terms of infrastructure and empowerment, but trust me they are some people you give one million today and after about a some few months you see them roaming and still poor, if in doubt take gamblers for example

Meanwhile if you give such people knowledge by enlightening them on the dangers involved and ways of escaping the danger and making good out of it tomorrow you will see such people living very fine and earning a living simply because of knowledge that was impacted into them

I prefer knowledge to wealth because with knowledge wealth can be attained, for an highly knowledgeable person will definitely know how to practicalise his or her knowledge in other to earn from it.

While wealth on the other hand is very difficult to breed knowledge because a rich man will be filled with hubris (pride) and will think that he's supreme amongst others and therefore refuses to take corrections and as a result doesn't learn a thing.

So you see that from the above excert that the usefulness of knowledge out weighs that of great wealth thriven with ignorance, thank you all for having me and I really appreciate your time thanks and remain bless.
