Hello, dear steemian friends, It is a great initiative to give room for steemian to express their observations about the engagement challenge contest, the engagement has really improved the participation of steemians and also gives room for interaction and learning from different communities' perspectives. I shall be making a presentation about my observation on the SEC and possible suggestion as required by the contest.

Haven't participated in several engagement challenges over the years, the way it is conducted and carried out is okay and the aim of initiating the engagement is been achieved. Many users are engaged in each other participation thereby keeping the blog busy.

But the only observation I notices is that the questions some communities are setting are not self-explanatory to many steemians, people from different fields and professions of knowledge are participating in the engagements, so when a contest is organized with much complexity and standard, it will discourage many steemians from participating in such contest. So contest theme should be easily framed and flexible.

Yes, the goal is achieved because I came to know some amazing communities through the engagement challenge, I also had the privilege to interact with other users of different knowledge through the engagement challenge.

I believe that many steemians have gotten to know more about the platform through different initiatives by various communities who participated in the engagement and also interact with other users.

My favorite communities in the last engagement challenge were #steemcameroon and #steemithealth, The themes of their engagement in the steemit are simple, interesting, and also educative to many irrespective of who you are, #steemcameroon is trying so much in supporting every participation that meets requirement and standard.

Yes. There was a contest I wanted to participate in but I found it so difficult because the topic was not clear to my understanding, as the basic rules of steemit imply, all participation is supposed to be steemexclusive so copying from other authors is not an option, and even as a glance through other participation to get an idea or concepts, I was not that clear to get what the theme means.

No matter how a contested topic may be difficult, once the question is clearly stated and ecplained, the participants can give relevant trials and entries, but meanwhile, it was interesting all through the season 8 of SEC.

The truth is that I cannot be specific to that answer because till now I cannot clearly explain the depth criteria for the contest winners' selections, sometimes back, winners are selected based on quality content, adhering to other basic rules, and also engaging in others publications but know, it seems that is not thoroughly applicable for winners selection. I think it will help to outline the criteria for selecting winners of give comment on why a particular winners participation is selected.
