The standard tests have a common method of assessing the performance of the students and achievements of the education of the students across the many educational systems. The answer of the question that is everyone has the same chance to do well on the standard tests is quite complex.The factors which contribute the performance such as background of the culture, socioeconomic status, resources of educational and test designs.
The role of socioeconomic status is very important in the performance of the standard tests. Such students who belong to the prosperous and wealthy families have access to the good educational resources we can say that they prepare ny test preparation courses, private tutoring system. These systems can enhance the understanding of the materials of the tests and improve their skills.
The role of educational environment is also important to influence the chances of success for the students. In the good educational systems of the schools with good curriculum, extra curricular activities. But at the other hand the students with poor educational systems may face difficulties and less attention and lesser opportunities for the enrichment.

Yes, test anxiety can impact the performance of a student. It is a type of performance anxiety that occurs after and before examination, these are the feeling of worry and fear. This can result in the psychological and physical symptoms which can hinder the ability of a student to do his or her best.This can result in the increased rate of heart, sweating and difficulty in the concentration. A student with the anxiety his or her body goes into a fight and flight response and this converts the attention of a student away from the test.
