The Debate (no.33); Dance for a better fulfillment.

Greetings to all my steemit friends, and to @sahmie for organizing this amazing contest.

Talking about dancing and singing, I believe they are two activities that work hand in hand. In most cases, we dance as we sing, and of course, it's almost impossible to sing without even nodding our head unless we are busy with other activities that can hinder our body from moving to the tone or we are singing a sad song. Do you feel more joy when you dance or when you sing?

This reminds me of my days in school. Back then, the mood in which I find myself determines how much I will understand what I read. When in a sad mood, understanding does not take place. On the contrary, whenever I'm emotionally balanced, I capture whatever I read. Lack of this understanding gave me a poor performance in my first year in school. The following year, I understood how my system works and that made me find ways of keeping my emotions balanced.

What I normally do is take a nap for at least an hour. The moment I woke up, I went straight to the bathroom to take a shower 🚿. After that, I play music on my phone and dance to the music for at least 10 - 15 minutes. When I do that, I find emotional balance. I find peace and fulfillment within myself. To date, whenever I plan to do something that requires me to be in a good mood, dancing is the tool I employ to help my mood. It makes me happy, it gives me joy, and ready for any task ahead. In conclusion, singing gives me joy, but dancing does it better.

Which form of expression brings you the most fulfillment?

Talking about fulfillment, both singing and dancing bring fulfillment as both are forms of expression. Nevertheless, I consider singing as a form of expression that gives me more fulfillment. The reason is, that it gives you more room to express feelings. Be it sad or good, singing gives more room. The lyrics go straight to the heart to trigger emotions.

I remember back then in my village when I was a kid, one of the major ways we hear about the death of someone is true singing. You will hear an old woman from a distance singing emotional songs that portray someone's death. Also, there are times I will be with my girlfriend, and I use songs to drop a message for her. Funny enough, she does understand it. That's an expression and it gives more fulfillment.

How do dancing and singing impact your mood differently?

Dancing puts me in a good mood always. As I mentioned earlier, it gives me more of an emotional balance. That's the more reason I prefer to do it before reading or even writing. As for singing, it offers both good and sad moments. We don't always sing because we are happy. I have seen people singing and shading tears of sorrow. But they do it to express their feelings. On the other hand, we also sing to find fulfillment. When we are happy, we sing as a sign of peace.

Which activity allows you to express yourself more freely?

Dancing is far behind singing when we compare the two based on which offers more opportunity or freedom of expression. If you notice, the kind of song we sing when someone kick-bucked is different from the one we sing on a normal day. The reason is, that the mood we find ourselves in determines the kind of song we sing because it expresses our feelings. I believe you have heard that every moment has its own song. In conclusion, it's possible to express ourselves using dance but singing is a mile ahead.

When do you find dancing more fulfilling, and when does singing bring you more joy?

Dancing brings me more fulfillment when I have something ahead of me that requires me to be in a good mood to have a better result or understanding. As for singing, it gives me joy when I begin my day with it. I woke up from my bed, sang, and advanced a bit. With that, my day is settled. Also, I find joy in singing when relaxing during my leisure hours.
