Stories, learnings and reflection #05/(It's time for us to change)
Tell us about an incident that happened to you or someone else or that you heard
When I was a teenager I was a naughty child, but my naughtiness still had limits, meaning that my naughtiness did not make my parents disappointed with me.
However, one of my friends was a very naughty child and even his naughtiness made his parents regret ever giving birth to him into this world, I saw him always acting naughty and not feeling guilty, I also wondered why he had the heart to do such naughtiness, even I as his friend felt sorry for his parents because of his unethical behavior.
When I saw his behavior like that, at that time I could only hope that my friend could change into a better person in the future so that he could make his parents proud.
Now several years have passed since the story of my friend's naughtiness that I told above, but what surprised me is that now my friend has become a very good person and he has also worked which makes him a useful person for the people around him that he loves because his position at work is also very good which makes his salary quite a lot.
The impact on you and what you learn from it
What I learned from my friend's story is, everyone has a past and it will never be too late for us to change from the dark past that we have done. Likewise with me, I myself feel that I have made many mistakes in my past that make me very regretful today.
However, seeing my friend who has now changed drastically makes me feel that it will never be too late to change myself to become a better person, I make my past a lesson for myself so that I can be better today and in the future and also so that I can be people who are very useful to the people I love around me.
