I'm so excited in my entry of this contest, how are you all, how is your family, I hope everything is fine, I'm here to participate in this contest but before I proceed I will like to appreciate Steem Fashion&Style for organizing this interesting and wonderful contest that base on farmer feed the world. so stay tuned as you read my article, without any further ado let's get started.

Who is a Farmer, and what do farmers do?

A farmer is a someone who plants and harvest crops. They are also the caretaker of the land, nurturing it, to produce bountiful yields for the community, family and commencial use. A farmer must be very strong because they wake up early in the morning and work hard until sun set. They tend to the crops and livestock, making sure they have enough water food and shelter.

Farmer are passionate about what to do, they are also knowledgeable about the different types of soil and which crop thrive in each. Firstly they cultivate a portion of land, or spread fertilizer in the land, then clean it again the second time and after that, they commance planting varieties of crop such as maize, cassava, rice, pepper, yam vegetables and other non-perishable or perishable crops.

They take pride in their work and find joy in seeing their crops grow and thrive. There are times and season for everything on earth, some farmers mostly hasvest their crop annually while some hasvest in period of weeks or months, though it depends on the durability of crops yield to hasvest. In my area South south part of nigeria we do hasvest crops annually mostly especially yam and maize.

Are farmers really important people in our society? (give reasons for your answer)

The farmers are really important in our society because farmer are responsible for the food we eat every today. From the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep, we are nourished by the fruit, grain vegetables and daily products they provide. They will always start with tilling the soil, plant the seeds, and carefully tend to the crops, ensuring that we have sustenance to fuel our bodies.

Farmer play a crucial role in preserving our environment and without them, the supermarket shelved would be empty, and hunger would plague our society. Their economic contribution growth to the world cannot be ignore because they generate employment opportunities not only farm but also in association industrial such as transportation, processing and distribution. I think that farmer are the backbone of rural economic, sustaining local community and fostering regional development.

And also farmers implement sustainable farming practice, such as crop rotation and natural pest control, minimizing the use of harmful chemicals, By protecting and nourishing the earth, they mitigate climate change and preserve biodiversity. they are guidance of our planet resources. farmers teaches us the value of patience dedication and the important of persistence, no matter how challenging the circumstances and equally embodiment of hard work resilience and determination.

What are the conditions of farmers in your area.

The condition of farmers in my area is their unwavering dedication and connection to the land bring sustenance to our table, ensuring our bellies are nourished by the their hard work and unwavering love for their craft. Here in my area South south part of nigeria farmers are very rich in providing food for their family and equally for commercially most especially garri. Garri is one of the food that is uprooted and processed from cassava crops and my people here do raise huge amount of money through the sales every weeks. though other crops such as maize, pepper, plantain, yam and others crops are also going on sale but there are seasoner and mostly we used these crops subsistency.

Why do you think people don't want to be farmers anymore?

I think most people don't want to be a farmer anymore because of laziness, stresses that is attach to it had fuels most people not engaging in farming. Mostly some times people examine it as a means of engaging in suffering themselves but unknownlgy that the food we eat every day are all from agriculture and equally the path to success in life is not easy. Even some people don't have standard source of income and don't want to farm.

In my country nigeria, farming is one of the sustainable development that has been helping most people most especially northern and southern part of the country. And it is the means and backbone of eliminating unemployment in my country. Farmers are very rich in time of hasvest because most of them has large portion of land where they plant veriaty of crops.

Another important thing why people don't want to be a farmer is that they never want to work on sun they cherish and creaminess their flash and not to lose their beauty anymore unknowingly that beauty is natural and it's from almighty God.

Conclusion.

Farmers are very important in our society and without them I don't think we can succide in this planet. Once again I appreciate the organizer of this contest, so interestingly.
