Introduction
2023 was an amazing year for me and worth thanking the Almighty God for his benevolence. As much as any year has very sweet memories, it must also have its bad memories, because both good and bad are part of life.
How do memories play important role in your life?
If I understood the question, memories play a very important role in people's lives. It reminds me of the good things I've seen and enjoyed, it reminds me of the blessings and challenges I have encountered in the course of life and how I received them.

Memories remind me of how strong I have been through the trying times and the measures I employed to tackle the challenges of life and how I overcame it at last.

Like I said, I have very beautiful memories of the year 2023.
- First was the Uyo Steemit hang out held December 22, 2023. That was my joyous memory because I had the opportunity to meet some of my Steemit friends, moderators and the Steem Representative. It was a refreshing moment. We got to see each other, learn new things about Steemit and then wine and dine with one another.

- Another beautiful memory of 2023 was my office get-together. It was a joyous time counting the heads of all the workers, and they were all complete. None was missing, non was sick or found wanting anyway. That day, we danced, wined and dined and had a lot of fun.
- The last one was when I visited my parents' house after almost five years, when I got married. Though they used to come visit, I found joy because I met with my sisters, we discussed, hugged and laughed together.

Share any worst memory of 2023.
The worst memory of 2023 started from December 2022. That was when my country had naira scarcity. There was no physical cash to buy items from the market. So many people didn't accept cash transfer because of negative experiences where others received fake credit alerts.
It was a terrible situation in my country from 2023 to about April and May 2023. We had cash in our banks, yet we couldn't withdraw money to feed and do other things. We resorted to eating only rice because that was the only foodstuff I had at home. My family couldn't go to our family's church, we just attended the one close to our home. You get to church, you have to offer your offering through transfer, and this was the first time I did that.
I don't know about others. For me, it was an experience I never wished anyone for. I'm thanking God at the same time as God spared our lives. I heard many people list their lives due to hunger and sickness.
Conclusion
In all of that, I can testify that 2023 was worth it despite the challenges we experienced. There was no loss of any form and so, I give God glory.

We survived 2023, the memories and experience was out of the world. Just as you said, the cash crunch was not only inhumane but a reckless act from the government. Good we can tell the stories ourselves. Goodluck

The Uyo Steemians hangout was a total success. The teaching, drilling and other activities was just educative but fun. The meetup about your workplace and the village is just spectacular. The money Scarcity is something no one will wish for its occurence again. Imagine a low life despite the money in your bank account. Good luck on your post.
