The Memorial of Jesus Christ night was a night of thinking, a night of appreciation, and a surprise day. It was a day to remember the most precious act of love in the world history—when Jesus came into this world and gave His life as a ransom for our sins. Prior to his death, he had ordered his followers to continue observing the Lord's Evening Meal as a rememberance of him. Jehovah witnesses all over the world gather every year to honor his sacrifice, as he had commanded. This year, just as every other year, I was set to be part of this occasion.

Everyone mood was serious, yet sad and happy at the same time. There was one single reason why Jesus died for us all is because he really loves us and by that all of us gathered together to love Christ and honor his love.

And then something amazing happened that evening at the kingdom hall which made the day more memorable. I ran into my two closest friends, and to my greatest surprise, we all wore matching outfits! We hadn't planned it, but somehow all of us happened to wear a white kaftan. But it was as if something more had occurred—like some kind of symbolism of the innocence and unity that this Memorial emphasize.

Seeing ourselves in clothes of the same color made us laugh uncontrollably, but gave us something in our hearts too. White is innocence, righteousness, and peace—things in which Jesus himself resided. We felt that in our unintended blessing of the event with our presence, we had blessed it too with a picture of unity among us.

We couldn't help but, the moment was too historical to forget in our lives without it being taken in consideration of what it symbolized. We thus felt that we will seal it as a memory in time. We snapped, smiled, and stored a picture to further keep bringing this reminder, and memory,it's so great to knowledge how Christ came to our rescue in sacrifice to forgive our sins, giving us hope of everlasting life.

The leaven and wine, a symbol for Christ's body and blood, I couldn't help but think about his instruction: "Keep doing this in remembrance of me."

At night's end, I left in appreciation. That coincidental twinning with friends of mine wasn't chance it was a sign that love for Jesus brings people together. It was a night of rememberance, faith, and great moment.

Looking back at the picture we took that night, I beam with pride. The Memorial itself was great, but that little act of coordinating outfits made the whole experience all the more sweet. So I must say that it was a reminder that sometimes in this live there are things we never anticipate that are most precious in life. So however like Jesus' love for us, there are gifts—given freely, surprisingly, and richly deep in our heart.

It was an evening that I will never forget.
