Contest: Happy Day with Friends @davidmarkgeorge

Greetings great steemians, I am grateful to share with everyone how my day was with my friends. Much appreciation goes to the organiser @drhira and the community for bringing this very contest topic on. I think a positive friendship is one of the best thing relationship to keep while growing as a teen. So many people don't really understand the word friendship and they let themselves controlled in a negative way.

Friendship here can be defined as a genuine and special bond that keep two or more people together. Family members can also be known as friends when there's a special bond between them, friends act like one and tends to understand each other easily. Before now it wasn't that easy for me to make bond with people or even socialise that much with new faces and that alone made me feel lonely and depressed most times, my life was all around music and staying indoors. My perspective about relationship and friendship changed when I needed someone I could talk to about my feelings and more, I started mingling with everyone in school including the teachers too.

I think I was actually funny and social around everyone which introduced alot of friends to me most of them weren't genuine though. My zeal to create bond with people grew day by day, making me special and real among people.

The story behind how I met my best friend is cool and nice to hear, I met my best friend 15years ago in my childhood church she happens to be the daughter of the founder. We grew up as just friends to best friends, it's always nice being around her to say our friendship is truly genuine and special.

It wasn't a surprise meet up we all planned for the outing and it was one of our best outing for the year. It was during the festive period where she told me longing to spend time with me, I totally agree to it because it's always fun being around her. We didn't go alone though our siblings followed us down to the mall.

To be truthful everything on that date was interesting right from when we got ourselves drinks, snacks and gifts. It was really fun because we went afar exchanging gifts and pleasantries. My best friend really enjoys taking lots of pictures during an outing to really show and keep memories of how the day went.

Our siblings joined us during the outing to share moments with us. It was really a good time with them there. Friendship is one the best relationship to keep while growing because it helps build out life if it's based on a positive foundation.

I am much happy to be one that associate with people and build up positive goals with people. Thanks for going through my post 😍❤️
