SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 10

Hello dearies!

Greetings from my part of the world, I am so delighted to share my participation on the above contest topic organised by a special user. Thank you very much for giving us chances to have a reflect on some of our past memories through this amazing contest, really count it a previlledge.

3 months ago, we lost our dear sister to the cold hands of death, whenever I am fleeping through the pictures on my phone, this very picture reminds me of that day, it wasn't easy for my family members and myself but I am thanking God for the comfort and relieve so far.

Before the day of the burial, there was a disagreement on what colour of clothes to wear on the day of the burial. Some of us suggested that the family should put on black clothes while some of my siblings disagreed saying that our late sister went too soon but it doesn't mean we should put on black.

At some point, my other siblings were assuming that those who were saying we should put on white are happy for our sister's demise and that statement alone arose another measure of disagreement which lead to a serious quarrel but thanks to God for an agreement on what to wear finally.

We agreed to put on white clothes reasons because she went through alot at the cost of her illness and white signifies joy which means, we are mourning her but with joy in our hearts to the almighty for giving her rest. I never knew my sister will die at all but I have learnt a great lesson from her death.

Death doesn't tell anyone to get ready. That is the more reason why we must be ready at all times. When we were still at the hospital, she really wished she could open her mouth to speak out but she couldn't and I believe that, what ever it was she wanted to say, God didn't allow it.
