Today I am glad to join the “SFS Concept Week 28 | Drawing Contest | Draw A Papaya” initiated by @hive-126193 in the SteemFashion&Style. This contest appeals to my creativity because I am a great fan of anything involving challenges, which is why I would like to convey my understanding of papaya through drawing. Its attractive colors and form make for an exciting subject by which to work with and recreate on a piece of paper. I am glad to join and be involved with this great fun and exciting contest!

To draw and color papaya, I began by gathering the materials I needed: including a white sheet of paper, a pencil, an eraser, and poster colors.

Step 1: Drawing the Shape

First, I took a white paper and drew the whole shape of a papaya and half the shape of a papaya. I

As the next step, I took my time to draw the details inside the half-cut papaya. I scooped out the inner part of the papaya and placed the seeds therein because they are characteristic of a ripe papaya slice. This way, the formation of the basic structure of this fruit was formed The step showed that the basic form of the papaya was created. placed a very small stem at the uppermost part of the whole of the papaya to give it a more life-like appearance.

Step 3: Adding Colors

Now I was ready to paint my drawing and add the colors into my artwork. I began with an uptake of light yellow color on the outer willow part of the whole papaya wedged and half sliced. I have painted green on the outer skin but am still able to see yellow hues to give the papaya the much-needed depth and richness.

Step 4: Color the inner part of half cut papaya and seeds.

For the inside of the half-cut papaya, I have used the orange color because ripe papayas normally have this lovely color. This gave the drawing a realistic aspect and it made the fruit look fresh and juicy as if one could pluck it and take a bite.After that, I used black and brown to paint the seeds part of the picture as shown in the figure below. This combination brought depth and depth which helped in providing the papaya seeds to look unique and out of the ordinary.

Lastly, I painted the tiny stem above the papaya with green to cover the entire drawing.

With that the drawing of the papaya was complete is the best definition I can give regarding the finishing period of my artwork. These colors give the appearance and realism of papaya as a fruit, which makes the fruit stand out and does resemble the real fruits.
