Explanation

---

Whether we call papaya a vegetable or a fruit, either is correct. It is quite popular both locally and internationally. The nutritional value of papaya is endless, as it is a highly nutritious food. It can be eaten in both raw and ripe forms. Papaya is very beneficial for the skin and eyes. Today, I am going to share a drawing of this popular vegetable or fruit with you. Without delay, let’s get started.

Step 1:

	Sketch to using pencil

I gathered all the necessary materials and used a pencil to sketch a whole papaya, a half papaya, and a sliced papaya.

Step 2:

To give my drawing a clear shape and to make it look more beautiful, I made an effort to bring out more details.Using a gel pen, I added small circle-like shapes on the sliced papaya to resemble seeds and made the outlines more defined.

Step 3:

Stem color

I colored the stem of the whole papaya using dark green.

Step 4:

I applied dark green on the upper side of the whole papaya and added a dark green border to the half papaya on the right and the bottom of the sliced papaya.

Step 5:

Combination of red & oranage

I used a combination of red and orange to color the bottom of the whole papaya.

Step 6:

		Used orange & red in the right side of half papaya

I applied a combination of red and orange to the half papaya and used orange and yellow to give it a ripe look.

Step 7:

I used light green and yellow in the middle of the whole papaya for a realistic ripe effect.

Step 8:

I used yellow to color the center of the half papaya, making it look fully ripe.

---

Step 9:

	Sliced papaya seeds color

I first drew the seeds on the sliced papaya with a gel pen and colored them brown. I then used yellow around the seeds.

Step 10:

I applied a combination of orange and red to the sliced papaya for vibrant color.

Step 11:

Seeds color of the half papaya on the top right

I used brown to color the seeds of the half papaya on the top right.

Step 12:

Lastly, I took a selfie with my completed papaya drawing.
