My Drawing Explanation

---

As per the community rules, today I will share with you how to draw a Pomegranate. Below is my drawing process, shared step by step:

Step 1:

🔹To draw a pomegranate, I first lightly sketch two outlines of the pomegranate. Here, I also draw the pomegranate’s leaves and the lower part. My drawing will include three pomegranates: one whole, one half, and one sliced. I lightly sketch all of them and also draw a few scattered seeds separately.

Step 2:

🔹Now, my light sketch of the pomegranates is almost complete. I’ve drawn numerous small seeds inside the half pomegranate and the seeds of the sliced pomegranate. I’ve also drawn a few scattered seeds outside, with a leaf lying next to them.

Step 3:

🔹 Now, I will give the final touch to my drawing. Once the entire drawing is complete, I will finish it off using a gel pen. The drawing now looks much clearer after using the gel pen for the finishing touch.

Step 4:

🔹 Next, I will move on to the coloring step. I will start by coloring the top part of the pomegranate and then color the entire left side of the whole pomegranate. I have finished coloring the large pomegranate, using red color here.

Step 5:

🔹 Now, I will use red to color the border of the half pomegranate on the right side, and then I will color the small seeds inside the pomegranate. I had to be very careful while coloring. I’ve left a few white spaces in between to make the seeds look more realistic.

Step 6:

🔹 The top part has been colored red, and now I will color the sliced pomegranate below. I am carefully coloring the seeds red, and once the seeds are colored, I will color the border of the slice with red as well, along with the few scattered seeds outside.

Step 7:

Coloring the white part of half pomegranate

🔹 For the white part of the half-cut pomegranate, I will use a blend of yellow, brown, and red. The color blending is very important here, so I need to do it carefully.

Step 8:

🔹Next, I will use the same color blend for the white part of the sliced pomegranate below, filling it with a mix of yellow, brown, and red.

Step 9:

^{Leaves color}

🔹Now it’s time to color the leaves in my drawing. I’ve used green for all the leaves, and they are nicely colored. I then used small black dots to color the part in the middle of the pomegranate flower, making it look like the flower part of the pomegranate.

Step 10:

🔹 My drawing is almost complete; now, I will draw the veins on the leaves. From the picture, you can probably tell that I have completed the coloring in my drawing.

Step 11:

🔹Initially, I was wondering if I would be able to draw this since it seemed quite challenging to me, but Alhamdulillah, I was able to finish the drawing.

🔹 Finally, I have completed both the drawing and coloring of the pomegranate. Lastly, I captured a selfie with my drawing.
