The Debate (week9); why male child is better than female child

INTRODUCTION |

Greetings my admirable steemians, my readers and @sahmie the organiser of this debate. Children are gift from God being a female child or a male child. Both gender contributes positively in the family but there's always the best. I'm here to support the motion which says that male child is better than female child with the following points of mine.
- Inheritance and family legacy
Most fathers do stare and say "That's my son". Why? Because a male child do contribute to the continuation of family Inheritance and legacy. Let's look at it this way, when a king depart, there's always an heir apparent to the throne. What will happen to the continuation of the family tradition if there's no male child? It'll be the end of their reign, so this simply shows the betternes and the impact a male child has in a family, that's why the birth of a male child is always crucial and well celebrated.
- Potential protector
A male child can add a sense of security for family members. Here in my country, if you can't give your husband a male child before he depart, you'll suffer so much especially if he didn't seal any will before his untimely demise.
Having a male child in the family is crucial because he will fight for his right and regain his father's property and legacy, unlike female child that will be married out of the family making it difficult to fight for his father.
Wicked uncles may want to fight so as to take all that belongs to the family. Which gender do you think will be fit for this deadly war? It's the male child of course. This has been happening time without number, and with the influence the male child has it serves as a potential protector in the family.
- Support
"Call your brother and tell him to send you the money for your school fees" Elderly parents said. They always say this believing that as a son you should always be ready to support your siblings financially which is the fact. This doesn't mean that female child don't contributes financially to the family, they do but the burden is mostly on the male child.

God chooses male gender as his only child and I'm sure He has His own reasons before taking the male instead of female. A male child is very crucial because it's strengthen the family. I'm sure with those few points of mine I've been able to convince you that a male child is better than female child. @sahmie thank you for this opportunity to express what I've wanting to publicly.

Dear, you have given a very good example of a king needing male child to protect the inheritance of his kingdom. Every father is happy when his son is a child. I have a daughter and I am very happy with her. I will educate him highly. Educating a girl child will bring honor to the family. But in our society, men give more importance to children.
