Introduction

Hello to my fellow Steemians and Readers all over the world. Today, I am joining the discussion about 'my favorite seasons between the summer and the winter.' Before I proceed on my discussion, allow to to quickly describe my keywords:

• Season: each one of the four divisions of the year.

• Summer: one of the seasons of the year with the hottest temperature.

• Winter: one of the seasons of the year with the coldest temperature.

• Temperature: the degree of hotness or coldness usually measured with a thermometer.

• Humidity: the dampness of air or the amount of water vapor presence in the air.

• Relative humidity: The amount of water vapor presence in the air compared to the amount of water vapor the air can hold at a temperature.

It is very difficult to rate one season over another. The debate about which of the seasons is the best or which season is better than the other is just to point out the goodness and enjoyment each season brings. However, we will try to look at each of the two seasons in question and the sweetness associated with them.

💥Summer Season vs Winter Season, which one is your favorite season & why?

As I have rightly put earlier, it will be difficult to choose a favorite season as each season comes with its merits and demerits. However, in order for me to be in consonance with the expectation of this discussion, I will cast my vote for the Winter season.

As an introvert, I could stay indoors as long as possible without thinking of stepping out (as long as all my domestic needs are provided). The environmental coldness and the indoor warmth make me feel extremely comfortable.

Another good reason why I like winter is that if you are going to step out of your door, you are required by nature to bundle or kit up - no unnecessary exposure of the body parts.

Also during winter, there are less, if not none, outdoor activities. For someone who works at home or who could work at home, there is full focus.

💥Tell us about the advantages of both seasons or your favorite season

As I have mentioned earlier, both seasons have their own merits and demerits. I will highlight the merits of both seasons here:

❤️The following are the merits of winter:

• Winter engaging sport: there are a number of sports which one can only engage in during the winter season. These include: snowboarding, skiing, ice skating, etc.

• Aesthetic landscape: the aesthetic beauty of the landscape during winter is incomparable. The beauty of the mountain partly or totally covered with snow is a good example.

• Fostering intimacy: since during the winter season, family members go out less. There is more time for the family to stay together.

❤️The following are the merits of summer:

• Vibrancy: during summer, people are more vibrant and energetic.

• Communal integration: during the summer, there is an increase in communal activities. As a result, people begin to integrate themselves into the community they belong to.

• Increase socialization: since the weather is warm during the summer, people tend to indulge in various social activities such as getogether, beach parties, picnics, etc.

• Lively atmosphere: during the summer, the atmosphere is lively. The city streets have more people moving to and fro or back and forth, every moment.

Tell us about the disadvantages of both seasons or your favorite season.

It is time for me to point out a few demerits of each of the two seasons in question.

☹️The following are the demerits of winter:

• Cold and longer night: winter season is the season of snow. The coldness and longer night make people less energetic.

• Additional cost of energy: since the temperature is lower, one needs to keep warm. The cost of firing up the chimney or powering the heat-pump create an additional cost

• Movement or Travel issues: during winter, there are a lot of snow overlays on the road. This usually makes driving difficult. Also, air travel is sometimes put on hold because of the unfavorable weather.

☹️The following are the demerits of summer:

• Overcrowding: summer period usually attracts tourists from other locations. It's also the time local residents want to transverse their locality. This usually results in overcrowded locations.

• High relative humidity: during the summer, the temperature is high thereby raising the relative humidity. This makes people feel less comfortable with the weather.

In conclusion, all season are meant to be enjoyed irrespective of the weather that accompanied it. We should always focus on the merits of each season.
