Know some important etiquette of talking on the phone-
• When you call someone, first of all, tell them about yourself, why you are calling, and who you want to talk to.
• Don't talk loudly on the phone. Don't shout if you are not heard. Hang up and talk over the network.
• Think carefully about what you want to talk about before you call.
• Use elegant ringtones on mobile phones so that no one is disturbed by your ringtone when the phone comes suddenly.
• Keep the phone silent when in class or meeting. Otherwise, attention may be lost when the phone calls.
• Don't misbehave when you get a call from the wrong number.
• Do not talk on loudspeakers outside. This may annoy others.
• Don't answer calls without asking for someone else's phone number.
• It is not right to secretly read a message on the phone of someone you know.
• It is better not to talk unnecessarily on the phone. When the necessary talk is over, the phone should be put down immediately. This does not disturb the caller.
• One should not call anyone unless necessary late at night.
• Personal words should not be shared in public. This can embarrass others and also compromise your privacy.
• Do not talk loudly while sitting in a vehicle. Passengers next to it can be uncomfortable.
• Phones should be kept silent in cinema halls, social gatherings or restaurants. When talking on the phone in private, end quickly in a low voice.
• Do not listen to loud music on mobile phones while travelling. Use headphones if necessary.
• If you are with your loved ones, keep the phone short and talk to them later.
• Do not speak on the phone while driving. There is a danger of accidents.
• Send a sorry text message to the person whose phone you couldn't reach.
• Give the person on the phone a chance to talk. If you just keep talking, the other person may get bored.
• End the call by saying goodbye before hanging up. Don't hang up the phone immediately. This can make the person on the other end feel humiliated.
