The Debate (no.25); "Boarding school students are more attached to education"
School is a very important medium for our institutional education. There is no country in the world that is running an education program without schools. Every country is developing modern education system to improve itself in education. Many parents are very worried and looking for better ways to improve their children's education. Schools are educating students with new activities. Many educational institutions have introduced boarding system along with regular activities. Today I am participating in a debate competition which is about better education. This is a series hosted by @sahmie, a respected moderator of the Steam Fashion & Style community. Today's topic is Boarding vs Day School. Before going into the debate, let's know the activities of the two schools. I invite you @shahid2030 @nooruleman @sinthiyadisha to participate in this debate.
Boarding Schools: Boarding schools are where students stay 24/7 and complete their other personal work with emphasis on academics. Let me mention some activities of boarding school.
Learning environment: Boarding schools provide a structured environment where learning can take place not only during school hours, but also during evenings and weekends. This extended time allows for more in-depth exploration of subjects, extracurricular activities and personal development.
Diverse community: Boarding schools bring students from different places to express their thoughts and make students interested in learning more.
Learns Discipline: Boarding schools require students to abide by many rules that bring order to their lives.
Educational facilities: Students in boarding schools have to deal with education most of the time and get sports facilities along with library facilities which provide a varied learning environment.
Day School : Day schools offer several amenities that may appeal to students and families seeking a more traditional educational experience with the comforts of home.
Family Connections: Allows day school students to maintain strong connections with families after school. This family environment provides emotional well-being to the students.
Cost Considerations: Day schools cost less than boarding schools so it is important to consider the financial status of the family.
Affiliated with other organizations: Day school students can do activities with other organizations after school.
My Opinion
I would prefer boarding school over day school because it is more important for students to spend that time on education. Also boarding schools teach many extracurricular activities which is enough for a student. Boarding schools provide an immersive environment conducive to academic and personal growth, while day schools provide the comforts of home and strong family connections. Factors such as cost, location, and the student's specific needs and preferences should be considered when making this important decision. Both types of schools can provide excellent educational experiences. I just wanted to settle the debate by noting the benefits of two things. But there were some criticisms of two things that I didn't enlarge the post by mentioning.

This post give us a beautiful insight to the topic. You are talking here about boarding schools here, let me tell you I am the student of boarding school. I have spent three years there. Yes this is true that they emphasis on academic activities too much. All the activities you have mentioned are true. At the end thank you so much for your precious invitation.

You have made your choice which is boarding school, reasons being that it has given students an enabling environment to study. That's great, and I so much value your opinions and views about the two aspects.

Day school children also take part in various contest and social activities even now a days Parents send their children to learn other skills also. But it is most important thing is parents should have Bonding with their children and it will be possible when they spend time with them.
Day school students must also participate in good activities and with good skills. Day school students can stay with families. But in my personal opinion students get better learning environment in boarding school than day school education. Let's say I was also a day school student. Thanks for your valuable comments.
I respect your thinking but parents can look after their children better way. A good day school can provide best education but school environment can not give family values and emotions values which can develop in only among family members
My child can learn all this you just mentioned with going to a boarding school. For a child to be well balanced, he or she needs more than formal education to survive. So other social activities can also be carried out with there parents.
Many boarding schools in our country have a monthly parents' meeting with non-parents where their progress and problems are highlighted. Thanks for your valuable comments.
Monthly visit of few hours is not
Enough reason why I should leave the care of my child to a total stranger.
Such work can be done for a certain period of time for education. The bad care given in boarding school is not fair but the basic needs are met, maybe not like parents.

I can see why you prefer boarding school over day school. Those points of yours are very important but come to think of it. Can you compare the lifestyle of a day students to that of a boarder in terms of respect, God-fearing and self-control? I've seen so many students who are going to boarding school and their daily lifestyle doesn't worth it, they're disrespectful, and live ungodly lifestyle. It's your choice though and you have your reasons behind it. Goodluck
I prefer boarding school with emphasis on education only. In our time students were not as disorganized as students are now. I have noticed many students are now doing drugs and youth gangs because of being without family but students who are out of control can do so even from family. A boarding school has a discipline and students who follow it succeed.
