SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 6

August 5th was the second time Bangladesh was freed from dictatorship by angry student masses. The extent of this movement was 36 days of dictatorship. Hasina government killed many people indiscriminately with its pet police. On August 5, when the students marched long, the dictatorial Hasina government submitted its resignation letter to the President and fled to India in a special army plane.

After the dictatorial government fled, people of Bangladesh took to the streets to celebrate and distribute sweets. I joined this joyous procession. We have taken out a small procession and many people are joining our procession. Slowly the crowd is increasing in the procession and you can see how happy people are by looking at the faces of the people.

We marched through the city to the central Shaheed Minar of Dinajpur where it soon became a sea of ​​people. People are cheering with flags and eating sweets.

We were taking pictures with friends with a flag to upload on social media. My friends were very happy with the fall of this government. This movement originally started with the movement against quota in student jobs. If the government had accepted this demand and issued a notification in the first place, so many people would not have died and the government would not have fallen.

It is not only the victory of the students, this victory is the victory of the common people of the whole country. Government party people and political workers oppress and extort common people. These pictures of our day are very precious and bring joy to me.
