Photography Contest | Why you should visit Slovenia
Hello Steemian friends, today I will share with you my home country and tell you why everyone should visit it at least once in his life. Slovenia is a small country with a population of only 2 Million. The whole country is that small, you can easily take a swim in the Adriatic sea and only two hours away climb on the biggest peak here - Triglav with 2,863 meters height. Not only that we can offer also caves systems where one can find many life forms in dark.

Nature is the main attraction here, even if politics don't realize it. We have lakes, forests, greenery, and crystal clear rivers all over the country. I just hope we will preserve all this and cherish it for many generations. What can be better than to see a green country, right?

Not only nature, but the food here is also amazing as well. We have some outstanding restaurants and traditional Slovenian dishes are coming back like never before. Why not be proud of something that we like and we did in the past. It is delicious and simple at the same time. There are some French, Italian and Slavic influences on cuisine.

What about people? AS I heard from foreign tourists, Slovenian people are nice and quite shy. But when they know you well they are making fun all the time :) So what do you think, is this enough to give us a visit?
