Weekly Steemit-network contest || Talk about your favorite writer ||The great writer of universal literature: Gabriel García Marquez

¡Hey guys!

Again, I come back to comment on another of my favorite writers and it is Gabriel Garcias Marquez. It is celebrated for his novels, stories, reports, arguments or cinematographic criticism. One of the greatest storytellers in Spanish American literature was certainly this writer and journalist. Above all, in the twentieth century, as a phenomenon representative in the Latin American boom.

A great storyteller:

He was born on March 6, 1927 in Colombia, Aracataca. His mother was Luisa Santiaga Marquez and the father was Gabriel Eligio Garcia, however, he grew up with his maternal grandparents and aunts, (His parents decided live alone looking for opportunities in Barranquilla and in such a place, they would have García Marquez's eleven siblings)

The particular environment in which grew from five years, contributes to influencing their works later, for example; her maternal grandmother, she was the main inspiration for one of the most unforgettable characters in One Hundred Years of Solitude, Ursula Iguarán. Or Colonel Nicolas Marquez, in particular, for describing the massacre of the banana plantations which, Garcías Márquez later wrote in the same work.

In my opinion, Gabriel García Marquez, had an incredible ability to convert any of his stories in poetic and judicious something. And it is verified at the time that One Hundred Years of Solitude was published in June 1967.

Dear as the father of magical realism

The success was almost immediate in the first weeks and some of his other works had more significance, such as "The colonel has no one to write (1961)", "The leaf litter (1955)", "The bad hour (1962)", "The funerals of Big Mom (1962)". In addition, one of the contributions he made, "The Story of a Shipwrecked Sailor" and forced him to flee Colombia because he was referring to a critique of government corruption. However, they were never able to stop it; he it had always been someone who embodies in his works his passion for writing and political ideals.

Lived for some time with his wife and children in different places such as: New York, Mexico, Paris, Barcelona while he continued to write more and more.

He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982

A great source of motivation for the next generation of writers or journalists. His works are totally recommendable and stimulating for anyone who wants it. Although the Primara time I read "Chronicle of a Death Foretold", I did it with a dictionary on my lap and was exhaustive Maybe because he was only eleven years old, but the way he expressed himself about him, he had something magical at some point he couldnt stop reading.

It's just wonderful.

Hi! Gabriel García Marquez is one of my favorite writers as well. His way of narrating and interpreting the human being was simply wonderful, and his title as one of the best writers in Latin America is totally accurate.
