Runa Laila was born in Sylhet on November 17, 1952. Her father's name was Syed Md. Emdad Ali. She was a government official and her mother's name was Amena Laila. She was a popular musician. Her uncle's name was Subir Sen. He was a popular musician in India. At that time Bangladesh was in East Pakistan and so Runa Layla's father was transferred from East Pakistan to Lahore in West Pakistan, so Runa Layla spent her childhood in Pakistan. Runa Laila has had three marriages in her life. She first married Jabed Kaiser to Jabed Kaiser. After her divorce, she got married for the second time. Her name was Ron Daniel. She was a Switch citizen. Her name is Laila.
