Talk about your favorite singer | Shashika Nisansala ❤️

There are singers who change with popularity, I think being famous is not easy. But the singer I'm going to introduce as my favorite singer is someone that has a very admirable personality. She hasn't changed her attitudes or the personality she had since the beginning. Because of that particular reason, she has stolen many hearts in Sri Lanka's music industry.

Her name is Shashika Nissansala. I remember, I heard her songs when I was in school. Her songs were often broadcast on television and radio because she has won some awards in many singing contests at that time. Her melodies were so sweet and catchy and many began to love her voice. I too become fond of her voice and songs and she became one of my favorite singers from the very first song.

Her journey began about 20 years ago. In 1999, she won first place at the Thurunu Shakthi National Awards held by the National Youth Services Council and in 2000 he won first place at the Youth Awards National Awards. She then released her first album, which became hugely popular. Paramitha, Nisansala Sandak, Sanda Eliya Mamai Nam, Sanda Rata Rata, Thol Pethi were some of the songs among them. She was later invited to hundreds of outdoor concerts and became an iconic singer in those stages. Latter in 2016 she won the Most popular female singer of the year - PEOPLES AWARDS for six continuous years. She has received more than 20 awards at many awards ceremonies.

Over the next few years, she continually was among the top 10 songs list of the country. Her first music video was released in 2010. The two most popular songs, Mal Sara Hee Sarin, and Dangakara Heene were released in the same era. I do not remember the order in which she sang these songs and when I first heard these songs.

Most recently, she sang the song Chandrara Payanna which was very popular. I personally like this song very much. It hit 3 Million views within a very short period of time. Surprisingly, every song she sang quickly became a popular song. Many people like her for her simplicity. I think this is one of the reasons why she is this popular and her songs also become popular because of that. I invite you to listen to this song.

She is now an indispensable singer for musical performances. You can see how much people enjoy her songs on stage shows. Her magical voice has always captured the hearts of her fans. She is currently a judge on The Voice Sri Lanka hosted by Sirasa TV.
