I believe, in ancient times, in the era of communal society, weapons only applied to activities such as hunting. However, when the share of ownership of the means of production began to narrow, and the focus was only on a few groups that formed structured leaders, the desire that originally aimed to protect the area and the means of production of the group turned into a desire to colonize.

Weapons that were previously used to hunt animals for consumption have become tools for control. Colonization took place, which was increasingly widespread along with the birth of the desire to expand the territory of power. I want to ask, did the invaders ever rule your country?

The picture above was taken at a coffee shop in the south west area of Aceh, Indonesia. The old weapon is displayed on a rectangular pole. I don't know where the artistic impression was when the shop owner hung the rare item there. Items reminiscent of colonialism should go into the kiln. At first I thought so.

But, I remember Timor Leste, where the monuments of the former colonization, even everything that history left in the dark rooms where the massacres took place, they left there. The goal is to commemorate how the country once fell into the abyss of colonialism and claimed many lives.

Regards.
