Reduce Risk When You Go Out

We are witnessing widespread denial in many communities over deaths from COVID-19 complications.Families and communities do not want to accept that people die from it.Yet they do.Many take no precautions, believing that the virus does not exist, or that their entire fates are in God’s hands.God demands that we take steps to protect ourselves.For Muslims at least, Allah promises that those who die in a pandemic while remaining alert to their faith will be rewarded with Aljanna, but He does not say we should be careless.Many think that to take protective measures is to support governments they do not like.Yet thousands of us can die, and government will not care.

    Even if you do not accept that Corona Virus is real, please take precautions.You could be wrong.You have a duty to yourself, your family and the community to be as safe as possible.If our family member dies from COVID-19 complications, let us not hide it.It is not a source of shame or a stigma.If people know, more will take steps to be more careful.
