The stone Bell / Die steinerne Glocke

Resurrected landmark of Dresden is the "Church of Our Lady" built by George Bähr from 1726 to 1743, completely destroyed in the Second World War and rebuilt from 1993 to 2005 by the Association of Sponsors and donors from all over the world. It has one of the largest stone church domes (called the stone bell) north of the Alps and is considered the largest sandstone building in the world.

Wiedererstandenes Wahrzeichen Dresdens ist die von 1726 bis 1743 von George Bähr gebaute, im zweiten Weltkrieg völlig zerstörte und von 1993 bis 2005 durch den Förderverein und Spender aus aller Welt wiederaufgebaute „Kirche unserer lieben Frau“. Sie besitzt eine der größten steinernen Kirchenkuppeln (genannt die steinerne Glocke) nördlich der Alpen und gilt als größter Sandsteinbau der Welt.
