Good vs Evil - Definitions of

GoodVsEvil.png

When i bring up good vs evil, many people say there is no such thing, it is just made up by man. There is no universal good, there is no universal evil. Relativism.

Or they will bring up ethics. Such as Universal Preferable Behavior or some similar structure.

What i mean by good vs evil is they are energy structures. That, in the future will be fully known and measurable.

And as you will see, there is nothing similar between the two. You can make choices between good or gooder, or evil and eviler and say there is gradations, but there is no "it is evil in this circumstance and good in another"

Defining Good and Evil

Good is open energy structure. With emanations / futures spiralling out from it.

Evil is a closed energy structure. With all emanations basically circling the drain.

Evil is closed. This is important to understand. Those doing evil are blind to future possibilities that are outside of their bubble. They are trapped, and spiralling down. And, those inside, try to get others to join them inside their shrinking bubble. "Misery loves company" is truly depicted here.

Evil being closed means that there is no better solutions probabilities, no better futures. Like Federal Reserve Notes' value going to zero. It is inevitable. It is the only outcome.

You cannot get to a good ending from a path of evil.

The path to happiness

A path, to a thing, has all the attributes of that thing.

A path to happiness is paved with happiness. Each step bringing more happiness.
So, if you hear someone say, the ends justifies the means, know that they are lying.

Many an evil doing person will try to convince others that their evil is the way to good.

"Fighting wars abroad so that we have peace at home" - War does not bring peace. It does not stop the bad guys. It does not satiate the anger or the pain. War brings more war. Peace is a very different thing and comes from practicing peace.

"Silencing others with hate speech laws, so that there will be no more hate" - which just breeds resentment, and a lot of it. And if you dig, you find the people pushing for the hate speech laws to be filled with, overflowing with hate.

If you are wondering if the path you are on is good for you, then you need to see if the path you are following has the attributes you are wanting. It truly is the journey, and not the goal.

Muscle builders often say, "no pain, no gain", but what i have really noticed is that most get addicted to that pain. It really isn't a pain, it has a good feeling aspect. There is the better/stronger feeling afterwards, but there is also a high that one gets when working out.

We really should have an area of study for pathways. Especially as opposed to the "goals" so strongly pushed in the self-help movements.

How high can good go?

There isn't an upper limit on good. Evil has a zero point, but good can go on infinitely.

(this is not exactly true, but God's love is so large, that this universe is just a bubble floating on the quicksilver sea that is God's love/energy, and by creating more good, God's love grows.)

We live in a dualistic universe. So, most things have an opposite. They are two things that balance each other, and are there for you to choose. To try what combination of things makes you the happiest.

There are only a handful of things that are not dualistic. Good-evil is one of those things. So, we must be aware that there is a difference. Many hippie-like spiritualists will say that everything is dualistic, and thus there is no true good and no true evil.

They will make up mind games like the Trolley Problem. "Will you pull the lever and kill one person, or do nothing and kill five people?" These problems are just designed to break your mind. A real useful problem would be thinking of all the ways the trolley could stop/be stopped and everyone saved.

We need to stop thinking in zero-sum games. Finding win-win solutions should be the bare minimum to shoot for. Remember evil is a closed circle. So, everything is a zero-sum game to them trapped inside.

Instead of having a war for X mineral, we could partner with the other country to build the industry to mine, and so we can all have the mineral, and the manufactured goods that brings. AND!!! we will both have more people with more money to buy these goods. Everyone wins. Everyone gets more. And this is a paltry, middling ending. There are much better paths that i can think of. Win-win solutions are just the beginning.

Perhaps we could stop using the word "evil" and instead use self-destructive, nihilistic, or doomed to failure.

But, evil works out much better, because it describes the mental state of those doing the self destructive things, as well as the destruction they are causing.

Of course, Christians (and other religions) lump an awful lot of things that are not truly evil into the evil bucket. Things like promiscuity and abortion. They are not strictly self destructive, and so, are not truly evil. However, the structure that comes along with them are very destructive. And so, if you can rise above the structure, then it is something to experience, to decide what is best for you. Most can't do this, and so, will end up in hedonism, just another self-destructive drug-addict.

We have a lot of learning to do about good and evil. And like i said, we will develop technology that will allow us to see the energy structures of what we are creating/attracting.

And learning to think outside the box also comes with the responsibility of learning "why we made that box" in the first place.
