Me interpelé a mí misma… ¿En alguna oportunidad he vivido una situación donde yo misma no haya podido asimilar el evento? La pregunta que hice y pienso responder se inclina hacia el tema de las estafa, algo que ocurre con frecuencia y donde terminamos diciendo... ¡No lo puedo creer!

I questioned myself... Have I ever experienced a situation where I myself have not been able to assimilate the event? The question I asked, and I intend to answer it, leans towards the theme of the scam, something that happens frequently and where we end up saying... I can't believe it!

Realmente y afortunadamente no he sido víctima de tales fechorías, al menos no en eventos continuos como suele suceder. Recuerdo una vez un hecho desagradable. Dentro de mis planes estaba adquirir una vivienda en Valencia, se me presentó una supuesta oportunidad, me pidieron de inicial treinta y tres mil bolívares (33.000) para ese entonces, hace 15 o 20 años, era una buena suma de dinero. Con sacrificio entregamos los requerimientos, no podía creer que estaba a punto de completar otro sueño en mi vida. Pero, no salió todo como lo esperamos. Pasaron días, meses y años, aún no sabemos ni de vivienda, ni de dinero, ni de la persona que nos estafó. sonó demasiado bueno para ser verdad.

I really and fortunately have not been a victim of such misdeeds, at least not in continuous events as is often the case. I remember once an unpleasant event. Within my plans I was to buy a house in Valencia, a supposed opportunity presented itself to me, they asked me for an initial thirty-three thousand bolivars (33,000) for that time, 15 or 20 years ago, it was a good sum of money. With sacrifice we delivered the requirements, I could not believe that I was about to complete another dream in my life. But, it didn't turn out the way we expected. Days, months and years went by, we still don't know about the house, the money, or the person who ripped us off. sounded too good to be true.

Otra oportunidad se presenta, esta vez por medio de mi hermano, él al igual que yo anhelábamos estar cerca. Consigue a una nueva persona con un contrato parecido y confiamos. Sucedió otra vez lo mismo, no lo podíamos creer. Con la fortuna esta vez de no perderlo todo. La mujer de la estafa fue descubierta y el dinero nos fue devuelto a Dios gracias.

Another opportunity presents itself, this time through my brother, he as well as I longed to be close. Get a new person with a similar contract and we trust. The same thing happened again, we couldn't believe it. With the fortune this time of not losing everything. The woman in the scam was discovered and the money was returned to God, thank you.

Ambos hecho no dejaron sino buenos aprendizajes. Una cosa es tener oportunidad y otra muy diferente es ser oportunista. Nosotros, mi esposo y yo lo fuimos y nos salió todo muy mal.

Both of them left nothing but good lessons. It's one thing to have opportunity and quite another to be an opportunity. We, my husband and I were, and it all went very wrong.

Otro evento importante el cual no podía creer, tiene que ver precisamente con esta plataforma o ecosistemas financieros. Entré acá visualizando una verdadera oportunidad. Desde siempre me ha gustado leer y escribir, cuando llegué a steemit, lo hice no pensando en la monetización sino en el deseo de dejar plasmado mis pensamientos en lugar donde mis hijos y nietos pudieran verlo más adelante.

Another important event which I could not believe, has to do precisely with this platform or financial ecosystems. I came in here visualizing a real opportunity. I have always liked to read and write, when I came to steemit, I did it not thinking about monetization but the desire to leave my thoughts in a place where my children and grandchildren could see them later.

Nunca pensé, que en medio de una fuerte crisis como la que vivimos en nuestro país, esta realidad sea la que hoy me brinde un poco estabilidad y sosiego.

I never thought that in the midst of a strong crisis like the one we are living in our country, this reality would be the one that today gives me a little stability and peace of mind.
