Pirate World: A community and World for Pirates (RPG/ARG)
Ahoy me 'earties. It be me honor ta introduce a community that's a month old at this point: Pirate World (a new RPG/ARG hosted on the Steem blockchain).
"Pirates!?" I know this may make ye feel a bit apprehensive, so I'll break down a brief guide on if Pirate World is for you:
- Are ye a pirate, swashbuckler, freebooter, sailor, privateer, or just bored? Pirate World
- Do ye enjoy gaming? Pirate World...
- Does the idea of quests and adventures shiver y'er timbers? Pirate World!
- Does the allure of booty drive ye onward? Great news! Pirate World is the perfect place fer ye!
Participate in various quests like fightin' krakens (The Infernal Terrorsquid) and smugglin' "goods", or just drop anchor in Deadman's Bay and visit The Salty Tavern fer a few drinks and some more drinks and some drunken brawls!
New features are constantly being roll'd out to improve Pirate World. In fact, speakin' of rolling, Pirate World even has it's own dice rolling bot (@piratedice) so graciously provided by @simplegame, and the BattleGames tribe has supported and featured it prominently on its homepage (much obliged @agr8buzz and @battlegames!)
Disclaimer: The dice rolling bot is not, and not to be used for gambling. It is a Dungeons and Dragons style 10 sided dice ("d10") to determine if an action you take in the Pirate World game succeeds or fails and/or to determine the efficacy of your actions. That is all.
