Thanksgiving Tantrum
Did you see the Thanksgiving press conference with president Trump? It was hilarious and frustrating all at once; this man seems to have a patent on that unique combination of traits. This was the first time he responded to reporters' questions about the election, largely by stirring baseless allegations of electoral fraud, and at one point snapping at a reporter.

Many were distracted by the tiny desk at which the POTUS was seated, and soon #DiaperDon was trending on Twitter. I mean, just look at that picture and imagine him once again crying, lamenting and whining about how unfair the world treats him, how life itself is rigged against him, and you'll see why this post's title is what it is. In fact, you don't have to imagine anything and can just watch this man-child taking questions in the video linked below. If you want to skip to the "good" part, start at the 19:30 mark after he's done with thanking the troops who joined in by video-conferencing.

How there are still millions of people, not only in America but all over the world, who see a great leader in this man, is truly beyond me. But they do; just look at the comments under that video. These commenters really like it when he's at his worst, when he acts like a little dictator. When he stood up to leave the room at the end of this facade, he was literally asked if he was using the language of a dictator. Of course no answer came. During the question time he was asked if he would concede if the electoral college votes for Joe Biden next month, and that's when he completely lost his temper and composure. "Don't talk to me that way, you're just a lightweight," Trump snapped. "Don't talk to me that... I'm the president of the United States, don't ever talk to the president that way." What a stuck-up conceded child; that's what came to my mind at least, but reading the comments below the video I see this: "32.00 about time POTUS put these lightweight nobodies back in their place when these evil clowns are out of ORDER." His fans actually like this behavior, and this is not the first time I've seen or heard Trump supporters react in this way. Like they think he's not authoritarian enough. But they do claim that he's the president that fights for their freedom...
Here's another comment from that video: "where we go one we go all." This is a far-right dog-whistle, often denoted as "wwg1wga" and related to tho pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory. These people will believe anything coming from Trump's mouth without need for any proof whatsoever. Yet they will berate someone who believes that Biden actually won for not thinking independently, for swallowing anything the mainstream media has to say. That's so sad; it's exactly the same claim made by flat-earthers who also say that if you just think for yourself, you'll see the truth of the flat earth. Amazing.
Once again I'm dumbfounded, in the worst way possible, by Trump and his merry band of sycophants. I'm unable to decide between feeling sorry for them, making fun of them, or fearing them. This is exactly what fascism looks like, and even if Trump leaves the stage, his audience will still be there, feeling robbed and angry. I doubt all of them will go "Quietly into the Night", not if they follow the lead of #DiaperDon...
