Man’s Best Fri... Carbon Emitter?
Hello dear friends. Do you have a dog or cat? A little furry family member you love and hold dear and that you would fight nail and tooth to protect?
What if you were told, that your pet was a huge carbon emitter and therefore a threat to the climate crisis and that you should give them up to save the planet? Would you do it?
Well, that’s exactly the thing that eco freaks are suggesting and it’s exactly like I said they would, back in November of last year.

Part of what inspired me to take on this subject was the planet of the apes movies (original series). In the storyline of the series, it was said that part of what caused the apes to evolve into smarter apes with the ability to talk, was the mysterious plague (from space) that wiped out all cats and dogs on earth.
So, right away I wondered. If you wanted to take pets away from people, how would you do it? Clearly screaming climate crisis is not good enough on its own. So how do you get people to be willing to ‘give them up’.
Well, how about a ‘mysterious’ virus. A plague that they’ll claim is a threat to people’s safety. Hey, it worked with coronavirus and old people right? How many of you are able to see your grandparents now? How about when they are on their deathbed? Are people allowed to go in to hold their hands while they gently pass on?
No, but some nurses will fill latex gloves up with warm for your dying granny to hold onto.
