Reading the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution you will find "Republic often. You will only find "Democrat/Democracy" as a type of federal government where "We the People" have control over how the Country works.
For to long the American People have acquiesced to the "Incumbent Rule" and allowed the Older folks to run, or not run, the Country they want, not the Majority. Only way around this is to NOT vote for any incumbent that has been in more than 2 or 3 terms.
