To What Extent Do You Miss Teachers In Your Area During This Quarantine Life?

Many parents would have loved their wards are in school by now. I have even met most parents who know me because of their wards that I teach. The complains reaching is that, their children are difficult to be controlled in the house. Always they are fond of making noice, quarrel with their brothers or sisters, they some times refuse to learn and all that. The plain language they speak is that teachers are very important, as this Covid 19 and lockdown has really revealed everything.

What does teachers mean to you in your locality? But, to some areas, teachers are treated bad, experiencing a lot of disgrace and attacks in the communities in which they teach. Most teachers are tagged by these deviant you in the society with no reason. In some communities in my area, hatred has been created between teachers and some of the community members. Some community members brutalize them, stone them and insult them, for their own ignorant and crazy minded.

The truth is that teachers have much command over the wards than the parents through whom the wards are in this World. I remember in those days early 1990s downwards, when the child does something wrong in the house, the parents hold his hand to the teacher to execute punishment for his or her ward. Children in those days were more discipline to the extent of indulging themselves from the teacher to see him or her. How did all these disciplines and fears vanished from the students? This is the simple reason that students and parents have given more authority to operate over the teachers. So, the parents too have influenced their wards to override on the teachers making them powerless.

For the few days being in the house due to the lockdown and quarantine life, parents and their wards miss teachers in so many ways. For I being a teacher and at the same time parent, I I tend miss teachers support, since my children aren't learning as I'm expecting. At least, if they are in school, they will be serious to revive their notes because of the fear of being penalized if fail to read their notes or do their home work. We parents will be free from shouting at our wards or calming them, because we are at home, one room and one compound, they do not take our word of advice seriously. We will enjoy the services of teachers when covid 19 ends. Thanks to the teachers for their support.
