It is impossible to solve all the problems of ecology momentarily. This is a process that requires attention for more than one generation.

How to explain to the child what ecology is?

First, the child needs to understand what ecology is. Explain that man is part of a great system: nature. People have greatly influenced many processes for the worse. But it is in his power to understand the magnitude of the problem and how it can be solved.

The child must realize that nature and the planet as a whole are the same and the home where he lives. Therefore, you have to take care of it. In gratitude, nature will give clean air, water, fruits and vegetables. And this will lead to a longer and healthier life.

Become a good example of "environmental behavior".

If the family smokes, then the child will be inclined to this bad habit. If parents read, the child is more likely to love the books. If the father and mother collect different types of garbage in different packages, then the child will follow his example. So he tries to be for him the prime example of good environmental "behavior".

• Perform garbage collection separately;
• Hand out the used paper;
• Go to the store with a reusable bag;
• Use a reusable water bottle.

Keep in mind that when faced with another world, for example, at a party, a child will ask many questions. Prepare for an answer or explain immediately that not all people understand its importance to the planet.

Ecology must be part of everyday life.

Teach your child to understand how important it is to preserve nature with the help of everyday objects.

For example, explain how to save paper. Remind the child that the material is made of wood. That is, the more we spend the paper, the more trees die. Walk with your child to the waste paper collection points. One ton = 25 trees saved. Also, do not forget to tell your child that trees are a source of oxygen and, therefore, our life.

Make an object with another one already used. For example, a bird feeder. First, you are recycling. Second, develop the creative side of the child.

The child must understand that it is necessary to save water and electricity.
