100 DAYS OF STEEM : Day 78 - Friday Challenge - How Much Does Your Shopping Cost?

in whalepower4 years ago

All steemit friends .... On this occasion I tried to follow a challenge "100 DAYS OF STEEM: Day 78 - Friday Challenge - How Much Does Your Shopping Cost?" from steemitblog. Friend steemit wherever you are this is a challenge that makes it easier for someone to interact in the world of steem, but this is very difficult to do if the digital currency named steem is not yet connected with the world of commerce. Moreover, traditional markets are found in all corners of the world for which internet access is very difficult.

For that I will try to share some information about goods that are very urgent needs in life. Basic needs in the household, which is often said by food.

Groceries or nine essential items with detailed expenditure prices every month in rupiah (Indonesian currency):

  1. Super quality rice size 15 kg 165,000.00
  2. Cooking oil size of 2 liters 39,000.00
  3. Eggs 3 boards 125,000.00
  4. 90,000,000 washing soap 3,000,000
  5. Toothpaste 60,000.00
  6. Sugar 2 kg 40,000.00
  7. Tea / coffee 35,000.00
  8. Shampoo and other toiletries 200,000.00
  9. Full kitchen seasoning 150,000.00

This can be obtained at supermarkets and traditional markets. To help the small traders I usually shop at a traditional market located in the center of the city of Kruenggeukueh.

If we shop at traditional markets we use cash, whereas when paying electricity bills, telephone pulses, water and gas subscriptions, we can use it digitally using credit cards or ATMs, this is around 600,000.00 to 700,000.00 per month which is routinely spent .

To fuel motorized vehicles we have to use around 500,000 cash per month. Every time we buy fuel at several gas stations here, we use cash, especially those around the city of Kruenggeukueh.

For education costs using interbank transfers, which is around 1,500,000.00 for each month.

So do not use cash, but digital transactions using the Indonesian currency.

So every month we always use local currency when making transactions to make ends meet.

The possibility of using Steem as a payment tool based on bitcoin is very large, if this can be done quickly and in collaboration with those who have authority in these activities.

Thank you for visiting my blog, greetings always success.
