Today's Diary, Tuesday, June 16, 2020
Today I do activities as usual. Because today I have to go to school, so I wake up at 5 in the morning. After doing my duty as a Muslim, I prepare breakfast and clean the house.
At 9 am, I go to school. Today is the last day to fill in grades, and I must immediately submit it to the teacher concerned. However, when I arrived at school, almost all the teachers had not yet completed their grades, and after waiting without certainty, I finally decided to go home.
While driving home, my husband called and invited me to have lunch outside. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, we have never looked for lunch outside the house. I always take the time to cook at home before leaving for work. However, because things have improved a little now, we would like to visit our favorite cafe.
At 11am, we left for Lhoksukon. There is one of our favorite cafes here. It's called D'Star Coffee and Resto. Located on the edge of the road, this cafe is very crowded with people, families or office workers. The menu provided here is diverse. All types of drinks containing coffee, various kinds of juice, and all types of tea. The food provided here is also diverse, and the price is affordable.
Today my husband and I ordered Green Fried Chicken plus rice, Fried Tofu, and a plate of fried noodles. And our drink of choice today is Espresso and Sanger Panas. All food that we ordered is only 72 thousand rupiah. Not too expensive right?
Fried tofu in this Cafe is really delicious. Soft and fragrant. The price is very cheap, only 10 thousand rupiah.
The atmosphere here before noon is very crowded. And I have to wait long to get my order. But according to the quality of the food is delicious. My husband and I spend time here until 1.30 noon. When we go home, we take a different path from the previous road. And I stopped for a moment to take a view of the river that was overflowing, because of the heavy rain last night.
Along the way, I saw the view of the houses of the people who were already flooded. This is an ordinary sight for us. Because almost every year, my village is always flooded, when it rains heavily. But thankfully, my house has never been flooded.
At 2 pm, my husband and I arrived home. After cleaning up, we took a rest for a while, watching the children watch television and play. At 5.30 in the afternoon, I walked around to see the situation. It turned out that the flood had covered the highway. I can only hope that it will not rain again tonight so that the flood will recede soon.
Those are some of the activities that I do today. Hope you all enjoy my diary today. Thank you.
