Italy, Too Strong For The Swiss.
Italy took another giant stride in their quest for European Cup glory by thumping Switzerland for 3 goals without any reply. After winning their first game against Turkey, they need to win the second game ahead of their encounter with Wales and they did so in an emphatic fashion.
Chiellini, who hasn't scored for Italy in 2 years thought he had broken it when he powered home with his feet after a corner kick scramble inside the box. After VAR reviewed it, it was chalked off for a handball in the build-up to the goal and not long after, he was withdrawn due to an injury.
Not to be kept out for long, Italy found their first goal of the day through a lovely picked out pass to Berardi. He drove inside the box and found Locatelli lurking and Locatelli wasted no chance than to tap it in.

In the other game, Turkey succumbed to a 2-0 loss against Wales. Wales proved their quality and barring any unfortunate event, they should be through to the next round with Italy. Aaron Ramsey gave Wales the lead in the 42nd minute after wasting two wonderful chances. Gareth Bale also missed a penalty but he was instrumental for the brilliant attacks that Wales had on the day. He also gave the assist for the second goal as well as the first. He picked out Ramsey inside the box to set the first goal up and from a corner kick, he drove in and picked out Roberts who only had to tap the ball in, just before the final whistle went to make it 2-0.
Russia also beat Finland by a solitary goal from Miranchuk just before the half time whistle went. Finland now have 3 points as well as Russia. Denmark is having 0 points with Belgium having 3 points too. Both teams would be meeting later today and a win for Denmark would see everyone in the team with 3 points but if Belgium wins, they would be on 6 points and it would be more difficult for Denmark to qualify.
