It’s another interesting contest in the @steem.sports community and I’m very happy to participate .

Boxing 🥊 is known to be one of the oldest and efficient sports in the world.I’m actually a fan of football but quite recently the display in Boxing and Kick boxing catches my eyes .today I’ll like to use this opportunity to talk about my Favorite boxer ,Israel Adesanya.

Israel Mobolaji Temitayo Odunayo Oluwafemi Owolabi Adesanya nicknamed “The Last Stylebender” is a Nigerian Born New Zealand
Mixed martial artist a boxer and a former kickboxer.Born on the 2nd of July 1989 (Lagos Nigeria).He is currently middleweight champion in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and a former tittle Contender in the kick boxing glory middleweight championship.He’s currently ranked Third behind Jon Jones and Usman Kamari in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound ranking.Ranking

Early life

Born in Lagos Nigeria, At the early ages Adesanya enrolled in the Taekwondo club of his school until he was removed by his mother due to injury.
At the age of ten he moved to New Zealand where he attended school. During his high school days he wasn’t fond of sports but rather interested in Japanese Anime.Being bullied back at high school is attributed to the reason he decided to join martial arts later in life.
After high school he furthered his education to pursue BSc. In Computer Science in the the Universal College of Learning in Whanganui in the Manawatū-Whanganui region of New Zealand.

Career

At 18 years, Adesanya Enrolled in Kickboxing training after being inspired by Thollywood actor
Muay Thai in the movie (Ong bak).At the age of 20 (2009) Stopped his education and decided to pursue a career in kick boxing. As an amateur boxer he had an outstanding record of 32 wins to 0 losses before becoming a professional kickboxer.
At The age of 25 (November 2014) Adesanya had his first professional boxing match against Daniel Amman(two time Australian champion) where he acquired a wildcard to enter an annual super 8 boxing tournament, the tournament didn’t end well for his as he lost . He re entered the super 8 boxing tournament the following year where he won his first professional fight against Asher Derbyshire . This time round Adesanya won the tournament.
