My F1 racing pilot all-time best Lewis Hamilton was born on 7th January 1985 in Stevenage England. He has a MBE (Most Excellent order of The British Empire) and a HonFREng* (Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Engineering). He is a Formula One driver who races for Mercedes.

Hamilton’s racing career in the formula one started in 2007 where he raced for the English giants McLaren for seven years from the year 2007 to 2013 before he joined Mercedes. He broke and set many records including the record of being the youngest formula one driver in history. He has a hundred and seventy-three podium finishes (173) in which Ninety-nine (99) of those finishes he was first. Also, he holds a joint record of seven titles with Michael Schumacher.

Lewis is a global icon who stands in for people. Through him many have come to like this noble sport which I’m not an exception. He was praised and appreciated globally when he took it upon himself to advocate for the activism to fight racism and the push for a change in motorsport. In 2020 he was listed among the 100 most influential people in the world.

Hamilton is my favorite for diverse reasons among them are, his fight for human rights, fight against racism, generosity and many more. He is the main reason why I started watching and following the formula one racing. He has been an inspiration to me.
