Hello sports enthusiasts, as this year draws to a close, I want to wish you all @steem.sports and your family, friends and loved ones a prosperous and successful New Year.
Manchester United v Burnley
Well, I had to stay awake till 3:45 AM (India Time) to wrap up the match. Finally it was a sigh of relief. United won 3-1, thanks to some stomping performance by the lads.
But Burnley did their bit as well. They were very aggressive on the counter and yet again United conceded in similar manner. Just tired of watching the same mistakes being repeated game after game by the United defense.
Nevertheless, United young guns in Jadon Sancho, Scott McTominay and Mason Greenwood shone on the pitch. They were lively and put Wayne Hennessey to test many a times.
I am sure Ralf Rangnick won't be 100% convinced by the game play but these are building blocks of the future. Most importantly, the unbeaten streak continues. This game was quite crucial especially after the 1-1 lacklustre display against Newcastle in the weekend.
Keeping it short this time around. Let's celebrate the year end in good spirits. Cheers.
