I am so glad to be able to partake in this fantastic contest. Special thanks to @steem.sports and its Administrative body, for making this contest available. Esteemed greetings to the community in general.
I'll be making a turn up of 53.626 Steem for this edition of the contest.

The Power Up Process

• -
  I signed into my steemit wallet and reviewed my Steem balance and SP details. I had 53.626 Steem balance, and 861.429 SP👉🏻.
  

• After observing these details as shown above, I immediately clicked on the Steem balance. A drop down list appeared, and i successfully clicked on Power Up, after which i was takn to another page.

• I got to the next page where I was required to fill in the amount of Steem I intend to turn up for the power up process.

• -
  I filled in the figure 53.626 (all my available steem), and clicked on the Power Up button.
  

• I was taken to a page where I revised my entries in case of any missed details. Ones everything was correct, i clicked on the OK button to proceed to the final page.

• On the final page, I was requested for my Private Active Key, so a to validate the transaction process. I filled it in and proceeded.

• I was immediately brought again to my wallet, where I could see an update on all my balances (Steem and SP values) as shown below.
  

I now had a 915.055 SP and 0.000 Steem, in my wallet. At this point, the Power Up process was completed!

How do you see yourself in the future within the Steemit platform?

• I see myself mentoring a crowd so a to make they stay on the steemit blockchain as favourable as possible.
• For myself, I would have gained much knowledge on crypto studies, as well as gained more friends and influence on the blockchain.

Why is it important to Power Up?

• To power up means to become an investor.
• You gain influence on the steemit blockchain, and navigate freely without any fear of running out of Resource Credits.
• I chose to turn up all my rewards so that I move into the unique club100 project, hereby supporting the steemit blockchain and its communities, in my own little way.
• power ups help better secure your assets in the case of you losing your private active key, since the hacker will be forced to wait for a power down process. This gives you enough time to seek for help in the retrieval of your account and assets.

Why did you choose the Steem Sports community to do your ignition?

I love sports a lot and have always admired the works in this community from the sidelines, mainly because i wasn't a member. But as of today, things have changed and i am a member if this great community. I just couldn't wait to drop my first post in this community. It is a privilege!
