Our pace bowlers deserve more criticism than our batsmen due to lack of Swing & Extra Bounce
We often say one thing: the pitch becomes bowling-friendly when Bangladesh is batting and the pitch becomes batting-friendly when the opponent is batting. However, in most cases, the main issue does not exist in the pitch. There is a difference in our bowling quality.
When the Bangladeshi pacers are bowling, they can only swing 0.6 degrees in the beginning. New Zealand bowlers, on the other hand, got a 1.8 degree swing from the start. This requires more bowling technique and the ability to swing from the bowlers than the assistance of the pitch. If there was grass on Pacey Pitch, the Taskin should have at least got the seam movement.
The previous ball's swing was supposed to be more than 1.8 degrees in the trap in which Liton was dismissed by Trent Boult. Due to the moisture on the pitch on the first day, the Taskins got less bounce, but there was a condition to get a fair amount of bounce from a good spot on this pitch.
Our pace bowlers deserve more criticism than our batsmen! If the bowling skills do not improve, then the questionable performance in favorable bowling conditions raises the question of bowling ability!
