THE DIARY GAME/Better life with steem/ Date: 23-07-2022/ by @yakspeace

Happy weekend my fellow stemains in the house. I welcome you all to blog on this faithful day. Today I will sharing another piece on how I spent my day, just relax and enjoy my diary.

Today being 23 of July 2022, is the day we fixed for our outreach at Oja oba Market, the movement was to motivate and encourage the young children who are Hawking at the market and also to hear their own view about hawking. So I woke up as early as 6:00am in the morning after my meditation i did small Exercise after which I wash my clothes. When i was done with the washing, I took my bath then i fried some eggs which I ate with bread for breakfast. It was already 9:30am so i put on my kaki and went out to the junction where we will meet and go for the movement.

Around 9:50am everybody was around so we all entered a bus to oja oba market her in ilorin kwara state Nigeria where we carry out our assignment for the day.the program was initiated by myself and my friends, it was not an NYSC program but the reason why we put on our NYSC uniform was for security purposes. Our aim is to stop child Hawking in Nigeria, but after taking with them, it will definitely take a long time before this our aim will be archived. Reaching the market we all separate ourselves according to group then we decided to spend an hour each, but our target was to talk with five different child hawkers.

So we all went into the market according to our group and after an hour we were able to talk to at least five child hawkers in my own group but it was not an easy task talking to them because some of them where scared to talk with us. But we were able to interact with some of them and they told us how desperate they want to go to school but their parents don't have enough money to send them to school, some said they are Hawking because their parents forced them to do it. Seriously interacting with those kids make me feel as if i should do more for them in other to help them because, most of them are actually willing to study but they don't have that means. We bought some of the items they were selling then we gave them our little gift which was book, pen, and t-shirt.

After the movement we all came together and prayed for the success of the program after which we wrapped all the items we bought from each of the child hawkers and distributed to the beggrs at the market. After that we all entered the bus and came back to the junction, it was 2:00pm already.

I came back home, took my bath then i rested for a while. Around 3:00pm I entered the kitchen and prepared morinca soup and garri (fufu), when i finished cooking i ate then i watched movies on my phone just to relax my head.

Since then i have been inside my room, so when i was done with the movie, i decided to go through my steemitblog to reply to some comments and also check if there are any updates then i come across a contest in steemforbetterlife community which i attempted. I then took my bath after that i Decided to share how my day went with you all and also to keep records of the faithful day.
