Introduction to Neuralink and how it can change Human Evolution.

As our technology advances, we keep coming up with ways to improve human capability or ability to what we can. Robotics are transforming our industries such as Healthcare, Education and Manufacturing. Most of these robotic need physical touch or voice command to be controlled or set to perform a specific task. Can we command our robotic with making contact with them? Well, that is what I will talk about below.

Neuralink is said to be the future technology which can allow human to command machines without any physical touch but with our brain. Neuralink can be define as a gadget that will be introduce to human brain through neurosurgeons procedure. During this produce, a chipset know as link will be implanted in the skull. We can operate our devices such as smartphones and computers without touching them.

How Neuralink works

Human brain consist of neurons that helps send signals to our cells in our body and also muscle, gland and nerve. So each neuron consist of three part which are the Dendrite (signal receiver), the Soma (processor) and the Axon (signal transmitter). Electrodes that are part of Neuralink will interpret the electrical signals that are produced by several neurons in the brain. These signal are been reproduces in form of output as movement or an action.

What Human can achieve with Neuralink

On 9th of April 2021, Elon Musk one of the founded of Neuralink company shared a video on twitter showing a monkey playing ping pong with its mind. Elon Musk reply to a question in the video comment saying this technology could be tested on human very soon. If Neuralink test on human is successful, we can be able to cure some brain diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Neuralink technology can help people with disabilities such as movement Paralyzed, Stroke or brain injuries, the ability to control computerized device by using their mind. Neuralink will offer a faster way to interact with computer when compared to voice or hand command.

We can access cloud where all our resources are stored with our mind and type message with the speed of ours thought. Cool right? If a monkey can achieve the explained first paragraph imagine what human can do with this advance technology. I am sure human can achieve endless possibilities with Neuralink.

Some drawbacks of Neuralink

This advance technology has its drawbacks. The major concern about Neuralink is it security, can it be hacked or is it vulnerable to malicious attacks? Well, the company’s CEO is confident it will be fully secure when tested on human. This problem if occur would cause great harm to the person.

CONCLUSION
Neuralink is a future technology, it may be to advance for human now but it comes with great advantages which can revolutionize the way we interact with computer as well as its disadvantages which can destroy humanity. But how can we evolve without taken calculated risk?
