Steem promotion is a work of you and me, to create an avenue for potential steemians. We need to spread the word of steem, making a lot of people especially students know about the benefits of steemit and opportunities on steemit.

All of us have our strong preference to inspire different humans with our ideas, that is why steemit is the best location for writers to enhance the first-rate of existence through writing competencies.

I strongly trust that steem may be promoted on social media, due to the fact that it is the one of the most effective tool to use in this world. Few a number of the platform steem can be promoted are; facebook, twitter, linkedin, instagram and lots of extra. The social media referred to above will create cognizance, because anything you post there can unfold around within little time beyond your imagination.

Other manners wherein steemit may be promoted on campus is seminar. Steem also can be promoted on campus, via telling fellow students including close pals and friends the advantages of the steemit community.

This powerful and life changing platform is too good to enjoy alone. In fact, it's wickedness not to promote what has given you so much more than you ever imagined

Here are some of the numerous way in which I will promote steemit on my campus, University of Ilorin.

Through the use of social media

Facebook, whatsapp, Twitter and Instagram have the highest number of users.
I will make plans putting up diplomatic adverts on this platforms that will inform people about STEEMIT
This will be done by educating my audience on "What steem is" and how important it is; Through shared links and follow ups. For it is one thing to share a link and another thing is to know if the receiver follows it or neglects it... This is where the follow up comes in. I will continue to intimate the person and give reasons why he/she needs it. I bet you this is one of the best way to promote steemit because of the large number of user on those social media.

Involvement of external bodies

Although, it is duly noted that steemit has the assistance of external bodies like Discord, Steem chat, Dtube, Dlive and other bodies. But these are not efficiently enough to reach out to the masses. That is why, it would be a marvelous idea to involve the assistance of telecommunication industries like radio stations to advertise steemit to their viewers for public enlightenment and this can be listener by submitting a well detailed proposal to the station, informing the organization about the benefits of steemit and even striking a rewarding contract between steemit and the organisations. I will be making use of thr university radio, UnilorinFM in this case. UnilorinFM is a student radio station and it would be best for my target audience which are the students. The bugdet may be high but the benefits of steemit simply outweighs it.

In light of promoting Steem, mini-stickers can be produced and distributed to individuals from different department of the school. This would help create awareness and it will boost the credibility of the platform.

Sponsorship of social activities

It will make a great deal and go a long way, if other social activities can be sponsored and supported by steemit. For instance, if a steemian is conducting a fund raiser for charity and he or she decides to publicize it on steemit, and steemit assists such person with upvotes which can serve as a form of reward for using the steemit platform.

Another way of promoting steem is introducing it into offline businesses. One can offer some discounts rate to customers who pay in steem or steem dollars. I do think that by so doing, we will be promoting steem. When someone who never heard of steem comes to engage in business with you and sees you offering discounts to those who pay in steem or steem dollars, he/she will be forced to ask what steem is, and that will serve as a great opportunity for you to tell him/her about steem.

Through Events or any of the listed above hosted and sponsored by steemit, Steem would be promoted. For it will draw and pull crowds to itself through such hosting and display. Take our country, Nigeria, students tend to attend occasion where they get to spend less. And this is another huge way particularly use in concisely targeting and captivation of audience by getting student to your location. Hosting an event is a great way to get people physically into Steemit. Events don’t have to be super organized, it should just contain some simple session like spelling drills, quiz, based on the promotion of Steem which will open house to draw even larger crowds to be inform about what steemit is all about. It will also makes Steemit to be easier to deal with, simpler to operate and clearer and comprehensible by the sharing of experience, technical know-how and the rewards attached.

Through infographics, animated video and GIFs

This is the communication of something or the imparting knowledge or notification of an ideology on a photo-like structure. Therefore, Steem can be promoted by making a bright colorful graphics which will even be shared far and wide to promote interest

Through Displayed gifs, awareness creation would reach its peak. Reason being that "we tend to pause and understand the content of the displayed gif" so if the gig was carefully and explicitly engineered it would boost steemit hence promoting steem.
Through Special animated video displayed on different pages, social platforms etc, a large crowd of Individual with questions can be assured of the safety and importance of steemit, thereby promoting steem.

Sharing of testimony

Sharing one's testimony is one of the major ways of promoting steem. You would be surprised at the the masses of people you will get to sign up and eventually become steemians from your testimony. Don't shut your mouth no more. Share the good news and you would be helping someone.
What I am saying in essence is that if i go out on campus and share my testimony of steemit to people around me, i am more or less promoting steemit because definitely, i will get people to join. Steemit is indeed grand and it is one of the best platforms, if not the best. Steemit has changed many lives in different ways. I am a living proof. Being a consistent and persistent steemian comes with series of benefits. So, it would not be said well of me if I fail and refuse to attest to the true fact that steemit is beautiful and grand.

Your testimony might be what someone is waiting to hear; so don't shut your mouth any more.

Organising free give away

By Organising free give away for the first 10 through 20 persons that registers, i will be setting a big mark and boosting the platform thereby promoting steem. How? If the newbies go out and relay their experience to others, they would come to gain the same experience. Almost everyone loves free stuff. Organizing a contest tagged proudly sponsored by Steem with lots of prizes to be won by the winners and participants on the steemit platform. It will create interest for student to want to partake in Steem.
