Graduation is always thrilling and entertaining. You are the center of attention. To get here, you've worked so hard and so long.

You're looking forward to walking over that stage and completing a significant milestone in your life. However, as soon as you leave the stage, you'll have a lot of goodbyes to say, and it won't be easy and some of the painful goodbyes are as follows;

SOME OF THE HARDEST GOODBYES YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE AFTER GRADUATION

  • GOODBYE TO YOUR CURRENT LIFE

Things will never be the same after you graduate. There is no transition time like there was in high school. The final safe haven was college. Before you're forced into the real world, this is your last chance to find out who you are and who you want to be.

The terrifying world that everyone warns you about seemed unreal until today. All of your anxieties about surviving in a new city, a new lifestyle, and a new work become overpowering.

That cap and gown will be the last thing you touch from college, and then your new life will begin. That could be anywhere.

  • GOODBYE TO YOUR BEST FRIEND

This may be the most difficult of all the goodbyes. The person you met during freshman year during move-in or during a difficult class for whom you remained up late studying together.

They've stood at your side through horrible breakups and awkward nights out. They were never far away. Someone you could walk up to and cry to.

But who knows where your lives will lead after graduation. You'll almost definitely start your adventures in different places, different cities, states, or nations. And perhaps you'll never cross paths again. Because fate has the final say.

  • GOODBYE TO YOUR FAVORITE LECTURERS

Perhaps you didn't enjoy every single one of your instructors, but there was one. The person who had a significant impact on you and changed your life.

Who took you aside when something wasn't right or supported you when you were correct, trusting in you? Professors can have an impact on us outside of the classroom, and they are the best times.

Those who regard you like a mentor rather than a pupil. Someone who genuinely cares about your academic and long-term prospects. Their advise is sincere, memorable, and most importantly, accurate.

  • GOODBYE TO THE PERSON YOU WILL WISHED YOU WOULD BE WITH

Crushes are obviously meant to be kept private or discussed just with your closest friends, but it's no secret that they're about to leave your life and disappear forever. The person you hoped you could spend time with.

Maybe you're the girl who got him through the difficult class with your simple enthusiasm to constantly help, or maybe you're the guy who has always been the girl's right hand man, but nothing more.

  • GOODBYE TO THE PERSON THAT AFFECTED YOUR LIFE

This is the one person to whom you owe everything in college. They led you when you were lost and assisted you in making some of the most crucial and life-changing decisions you've made in the last four years.

It could be a boyfriend, girlfriend, mentor, or someone else entirely. The only criteria is that they have a significant influence on who you are now. Making you a stronger, more self-assured individual who knows what you're capable of.

This person you've just met was given to you for a reason, and their chapter in your life is about to come to an end. You're at a loss for what to do.

  • GOODBYE TO YOUR UNDERGRADUATE SELF

In the last four years, you've learnt a lot. You've evolved from a nervous, unsure freshman to a someone you don't always recognize...in a good way.

However, you will change after this day, just as you have in the past. Graduation will set you on a new path, one considerably more terrifying than the one you've just completed. You will alter again with each passing year. You'll always be changing and growing.

So keep in mind that the person you are in that cap and gown now will not be the person you are in three or ten years. A lot of things change in life.

CONCLUSION

Life in college is filled with a lot of experiences and we most times tend to think that it doesn't end. But the sad part of reality is that all those experiences will one day turn to memories and certainly we will miss most of them.
