There is always a beginning to everything in life.Every journey begins with a step.Today was a special day for CampusConnect and her members.The Anniversary was also an avenue to promote Steemit because people that came around the venue got to know more about Steemit and organized the members could be.

This day being the 14th day of April was billed to celebrate the community's one year of birth here on Steemit and It was worth celebrating.The community has remained the only community with the highest number is youth here in Nigeria.This is due to fact that it was basically for campus students who are more of young and vibrant minds.The community admin in the person of @whitestallion is a very young and intelligent fellow.

The event started unfolding at around 12:20 pm when @ngoenyi arrived at the venue and we exchange pleasantries.Soon @whitestallion and @alphafx arrived with the generator set,sound system,the branded t-shirt,food, drinks and the anniversary cake.Meanwhile the table and chairs was already set by me.

The T-shirts was shared to everyone.The table was decorated with drinks,chewables and food and everyone got seated.The community founder in the person of @whitestallion made a wonderful opening remark and declared the occasion open.Everyone thanked him and wished the community well.The DG gave us series of soft music while entertainment got started.Everyone ate and drank with the highest possible satisfaction.

After the entertainment.It was now time to cut the anniversary cake.The cake was well decorated with the community name written on it.The attendees namely @whitestallion @focusnow @ngoenyi @samuel20 @alphafx and @solar-star joined hands together and cut the name as we together spelt and prounced the name CampusConnect.It was indeed a moment of bliss and celebration.Everyone smiled and laughed as we took photographs and then the cake was shared to the attendees.

The anniversary was a happy day for all.It made my day.It also afforded me opportunity to see @alphafx in person for the very first and to see @ngoenyi and @solar-star after a long while.I sincerely wish the community will continue to grow from strength to strength under the Steemit platform.Many more years of celebration and increased activities would be lifestyle of @campusconnect and her members.
