The Internet is now one of the fundamental means of making accessible assets for research and learning for teachers and students to share and secure data.

Virtual learning incorporates the utilization of the web and other significant advancements to deliver materials for learning, show students, and furthermore direct subjects in school. Virtual learning is the use of information and communication technology to pass and acquire knowledge in the form of education.

Will virtual learning shape education and learning the way we know it?

I believe virtual learning is already shaping education and learning. It has made education overcome certain restraints like space and time. This kind of flexibility has made learning much easier.

Furthermore, there are more resources over the internet for learning and the quality of education has improved. More persons can share ideas and knowledge.
With virtual learning, there are no limitations of physical classrooms and time. People can learn anywhere they are, anytime that fits them, and at their own pace no matter the situation around the world.

Do you think your university will incorporate virtual learning into its curriculum?/ State the reason for the answer

I am a student of University of Nigeria and Yes, I think my university will incorporate virtual learning into it curriculum. The reason is because virtual learning is taking over education worldwide. It is the new method of learning. My school doesn't want to be left behind.

With the situation of Nigeria and the incessant strikes embarked on by ASUU, virtual learning seems to be the only means by which my school quickly meet up with their curriculum and also catch up with the academic calendar.
Furthermore, my school has a Center for Distance and E-learning(CDEL) which is paving the way for virtual learning in the school.

Do I think such move would be plausible?

I think it will be plausible because of the following benefits

• Flexibility: As mentioned earlier, virtual learning provide flexibility. Flexibility in the sense that students can learn at the time appropriate for them. They can also learn at the comfort of their homes, not necessarily having to gather in classrooms.

• Virtual learning eliminates a lot of costs. People don't have to spend money traveling in order to teach or learn. In addition, there would be no need to build more classrooms or structures.

• Students can also learn at their own pace. Those who are fast learners and those who are slow learners can learn at their individual paces that suit them. This makes Learning more satisfying.

• Virtual learning add to the quality of education as there is better access to large quantity of information.

Have you had any experience with virtual learning, if yes kindly indicate when and how

I have had a virtual learning experience. It was a web design class on zoom that took place on March, 2022. It was a one hour class. The class was really fun and I am glad I attended.
